Hey excuse me, sorry to interrupt I'm, just I'm, just curious I just moved here.

I got an e-bike and I'm just curious where I am and I am not allowed to ride it.

So here's what's gonna happen: I'm gonna unbox, this bike, I'm gonna, take it to LA and then I'm gonna talk to some police.

It's an idea.

I've had for a while I've wanted to do it, no idea how it's going to turn out.

Let's go now.

This is a street legal bike.

It needs to be street legal if I'm going to be dealing with police at all.

In this video and I don't have a street legal bike, so this will be perfect.

This is a engway street legal bike.

I told them about my video idea and they wanted to help out and not only are they helping out, but they're also running a huge giveaway.

Thank you, foreign street legal e-bike, I'm gonna go around we're gonna ask police about their own e-bike laws.

Let's see what happens, let's unload all right.

So here we go with the engway, some things I like and some things I, don't I love the cargo racks.

Those are always super useful, big cushy seat with some tilt adjustability it folds.

That's always nice.

The handled bar also folds down and my favorite part.

It's got hydraulic disc brakes some things, I, don't like I, don't like the gears I, don't think these bikes need them, and when you have this, many gears there's bound to be problems and I.

Don't like that, it's slow, but that's not their fault.

That's just because those are the laws and you have you can't go over 28 miles an hour.

I'm, just gonna put it into the highest gear five.

Well, what better way to start this test than to go straight down a set of stairs? Is it still in one piece? It's Beverly Hills, one of the more affluent regions in the area lead the way Sawyer Sawyer is on this insane keyboard that he's built deserves an entire video of its own, so far really actually liking this bike.

The throttle response is good Snappy.

It looks pretty good I like I, like the look, a lot of uh security guards out: I wanna I wanna talk to the popo still on the Scout for some police, it's funny, usually when I'm riding I'm avoiding police as much as possible, but today that's all I'm.

Looking for I'm looking for trouble, oh my goodness, wow, damn um, which one are you choosing comment below personally, the black or the red Ferrari, the McLaren's.

Looking good didn't one of these get flooded in Florida or something maybe I'm, mixing it up.

Wow, just lots of nice beautiful cars out today, oh hi, there, sir I, don't want to interrupt um I just moved here and I got this bike and I'm wondering like what the laws are as far as where I can ride it.

Oh because it's one of like give us an electric bike, yeah, you know what uh contact the traffic Bureau um, give me the the number for that.

Are you not the traffic, your traffic control, yeah traffic control, but I'm, not like traffic enforcement, gotcha, gotcha, gotcha I! Don't want to misinform you! So if you give me the number I can get you the number um yeah.

Do you have a card or something it's just the Beverly Hills Police Department traffic, Bureau, okay, I'll just reach out to them directly: okay, hey thanks! A lot I appreciate your time.

Have us be safe out there, so apparently the Beverly Hills, Police Department will know so, let's find them, maybe they'll say: hey ask traffic control, so we've been flying around for about 20 minutes now and I'm still at 100 on the battery.

Now I, don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing is the gauge off, or is this just an insanely good battery no waves from the Taurus come on.

Maybe we'll ask the robot police engway is actually doing a huge giveaway and that's part of why I was so excited to do this.

Video, because they're giving out 10 of these and I.

Don't think many people are entering the giveaway because I certainly haven't heard about it until they reached out I.

Think there's a huge chance.

He could win one of the 10 that they're giving away, among other things and I, don't think as many people are entering this giveaway, as maybe any other giveaway I've seen this size.

So all the information will be down below.

You probably have the best bet for winning one of these bikes that you'll ever have.

Oh, it's still going.

It's got cruise control.

This is so fun.

It's still accelerating.

That's awesome! Still on the lookout.

No luck in in Rodeo Drive, there were no police.

Look at that.

Look at all these bozos sitting there waiting in traffic.

This is a really Pleasant ride, but we have not found any police.

We are covering a good amount of range right now, moving into East Hollywood here still on the lookout for cops, a weird, weird activity: it's always the opposite, usually they're.

Looking for us, okay, I get asked a lot like do you have problems riding on the street? Where are the cops who's? Gonna tell me to stop I'm, like literally looking for them for the last 30 40 minutes.

We can't find one.

Oh okay, King! Our guess is that it's Tuesday.

So there just aren't that many police out, but hopes are high.

I bet we'll get a couple good questions in so this is the walk.

Hey.

We see all the stars.

There has to be one policeman out here.

If there isn't then I'm buying a dirt bike and I'm street riding it every day, beautiful I don't know if I should be happy or frustrated that there's no police dude.

How are there is it? How is there not one single cop here, I'm shook I right they're out when you don't want them to be so many people with no law enforcement? Oh here's, a cop! Here's a cop there there we go hey.

Excuse me, sorry to interrupt I'm, just I'm, just curious I just moved here.

I got an e-bike and I'm just curious where I am and I am not allowed to ride.

It seems to be different.

Where am I and where am I not allowed to ride it for sure not on the Stars? Okay, not on the Stars.

Okay, no stars, okay, but everything else is fair game or what yeah thanks a lot guys have a good one.

Hi there, sir doing great you know, I just moved to the area and I know I, don't want to block the street.

Just moved to the area.

Got this electric bike, I'm wondering what the laws are here.

Santa Monica is a bike lane.

That's really it! Thank you very much.

You have a great day that was tough walking the road.

So he said that Santa Monica Boulevard is a bike lane, like all of it, is a bike lane I guess, that's pretty cool I actually didn't know that maybe they all assumed the bike I'm on is street legal, but they don't even ask like.

Oh how many watts is it, but I guess they they're, just not familiarized.

So for the next cop I'm gonna say that this bike is a hundred kilowatt which is I, know it's a fact: that's not legal anywhere in the country.

If they know their laws well, they'll know that 750 watts is the maximum first really bike.

So 100 kilowatts is just magnitudes more than that.

This is research.

This is Street search, Street search.

It's night time we've been out for at least an hour and a half looking for police and we found like two and they didn't give a [ __ ] about the e-bike laws.

There's a cop up ahead and the lights turning red see if we can get him.

Do you mind if I ask you a quick question: I just moved to the area.

I got this e-bike.

It's a hundred kilowatts I'm wondering what the laws are here about riding it.

Follow the laws on the road good to hear.

Thanks for the information, have a good one, no way.

I! Guess that's how it is here as long as you're, not being a goon I, just told him, it was 100 kilowatts.

He didn't care.

He just said: follow the rules of the road they're getting cookies, it's the sheriff.

They just got their cookies.

Hey there I hate to interrupt your your break, but um can I ask a question: I just moved to the area.

I got this electric bike and I'm curious like what the laws are as far as where I can ride.

It.

Definitely on the street.

Only on the street, not on the side, yeah I had no plan of doing it.

On the sidewalk, okay and 100 normal bikes.

Normal bike rolls yeah.

Okay, 100 kilowatts is fine.

100 kilowatts is fine power, wise uh, I.

Don't think there is a specific the matter.

It doesn't matter how many watts it is never specified that really, okay, if an electrical fire, the road and follow the rules, you can do that for sure.

I got a driver's license and all that hey thanks a lot enjoy the rest of your day be safe.

Thank you.

How about that I just realized I started riding it on the sidewalk.

Immediately after they said.

That's the one place, I can't ride it.

Well, there you go.

There are no watt limits for e-bikes in LA and as long as you're on the road and following those laws, you're good to go, I don't think there is it doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter how many watts it is all right.

Cruise control, I'm flying down this road that was very successful.

Street Church and we've concluded that cops of Los Angeles, downtown Los, Angeles, Beverly, Hills, Hollywood area.

They don't give a few of us.

They don't even think there's limits on the Watts, I told them.

This was 100 kilowatts.

They said it was fine as long as I'm following the rules, so this was awesome massive shout out to engway for hooking it up and doing this huge 10 bike giveaway that probably very few people are entering so go ahead and check out the description how to enter it.

This bike was great and I, wouldn't have had the confidence to go around and ask police unless I was on a street legal bike, which this is so cops that do know their laws would not have a problem with this, the headlights off to the side.

So that's why it's there as always.

Thank you so much for watching.
